These general sales conditions apply to all agreements concluded between the visitor of our shop on the address mentioned above and the visitor of the website places an order online, hereinafter called the buyer and HOUSE OF ELSÉE, registered office: Driegaaienstraat 74b 101, BE-9100 Sint-Niklaas, hereinafter referred to as the seller.

On request we will send you a paper copy of the conditions via mail.

Placing an order on means that the buyer agrees to the following conditions:


1.1. HOUSE OF ELSÉE can not guarantee that the content of the site is at all times free of inaccuracies or typographical errors and can not guarantee that all information is up-to-date.

1.2. HOUSE OF ELSÉE can change the content of the site at any time.

1.3. The colors on your screen may differ from the original product. This depends, among other things, on the settings on your computer. We do our very best to show the right colors on our webshop.
All images, photos, drawings, … or data concerning weights, dimensions, colors, images of labels, … on the HOUSE OF ELSÉE web shop are only approximate, are indicative and can not lead to compensation or dissolution of the agreement.

1.4. HOUSE OF ELSÉE reserves the right to change its delivery and / or payment conditions after expiry of the term.

1.5. This website is intellectual property of HOUSE OF ELSÉE. Nothing may be copied or used without permission from HOUSE OF ELSÉE.

1.6 We try to find the designer or photographer of every photo we use for ELSÉE MAGAZINE. We mention their names below the blogposts. If you notice something on the blog that's yours but doesn't have the right reference, please let us know. We’ll add this as soon as possible. 


2.1. All listed sales prices are in euros, including VAT and excise duties. The shipping costs are not included in the sales price. These are calculated at the end of your order. Special offers are always clearly stated on the website and apply as long as stocks last.

2.2. Prices on the website are subject to printing and typing errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typing errors. The seller has the right to cancel purchases of incorrectly priced items or discounts.

2.3. Renunciation right
The buyer has the right to cancel the delivery within 14 calendar days after purchase (renunciation right), without payment of a fine and without justification, and this from:
* If you opted for “pick-up”: the first working day following the day of the order.
* If you chose to send to an address: the day following the delivery or following the first offer
There is no right of withdrawal if the product and packaging are no longer in original, complete, undamaged and unused condition. Sales will not be taken back nor exchanged. Deviations from this can be discussed with HOUSE OF ELSÉE (the seller). You can contact us for this before you proceed to the purchase, via The following conditions (type of sales-related) and working practices are applicable in order to make use of the right of withdrawal:

°During the collection sale (collection without promotions / sales / outlet):
1/ HOUSE OF ELSÉE must first be informed of the application of the right of renunciation, and this has been sent by means of a written letter (mail: to a durable medium available and accessible to the recipient. The goods must be delivered to:

before the expiry of the deadline (as described in the beginning of point 2.3.)

2/ The products must be returned completely, undamaged and in the original packaging at the customer’s own risk and costs. The products must always be returned with the original labels.
3/ Acceptance of the unopened package by HOUSE OF ELSÉE upon delivery by a shipping company does not imply any acceptance of the goods by HOUSE OF ELSÉE. HOUSE OF ELSÉE reserves the right to refuse the goods after receipt if HOUSE OF ELSÉE has not been informed and/or the goods reach us after the expiry of the term. Delays in transport for any reason whatsoever are entirely the responsibility of the customer and do not imply an extension of the acceptance period.

°On specific customer’s request:
Goods that have been specially adapted for the buyer by, or have been re-produced at the request of the customer, will not be taken back.

°Sales/Stock sale/Outlet
Goods purchased by the buyer in sales, stock sales or outlet, will NOT be taken back

2.4. Sales and outlet are not taken back or exchanged. See also point 2.3. Only in exceptional cases we can accept the return of items on sale. Contact us in advance by mail to to discuss this. We won’t accept items returned to us without prior notice.

2.5. Offer
If you have specific questions about, for example, dimensions, color, availability, delivery time or delivery method, you can contact us in advance via or by telephone at +32 (0)479 53 43 64.

2.6. Online orders can be refused if the product has already been sold during offline shopping before the online payment. You will be informed of this by e-mail and be refunded in the shortest delay.

2.7. (Percentage) discount campaigns can never be combined with other actions.

2.8. Action codes are not valid on products which are already discounted or on sale.

2.9. Form to use your right of withdrawal
To use your right of withdrawal, mail the following information to

  • name,

  • address,

  • confirmation e-mail,

  • order details (order number + item(s) you have ordered),

  • order date.

You will find the procedure for the right of renunciation higher under number 2.3. of these General Terms and Conditions.


3.1. HOUSE OF ELSÉE strives for the fastest possible shipment. We aim for a delivery within 10 calendar days after receiving the payment on our account with the exception of holiday periods where this period may take longer.

3.2. Products are delivered to the delivery address that was transferred by the buyer to his order. Incorrect delivery addresses are the responsibility of the buyer and may give rise to additional costs at the expense of the buyer.

3.3. Delay cannot be a reason for compensation, nor for total or partial cancellation of the order.

3.4. Delivery takes place while stocks last. The delivery of the products is done by B-Post or another shipping service at the delivery address specified by the buyer. If no one is present, the driver will leave a note so that the package can be picked up at the nearest post office according to the rules of B-Post.

3.5. HOUSE OF ELSÉE is not liable if the delivery period is exceeded due to the actions of the carrier, nor in case of loss of the products or in the event of a strike. The buyer is aware of the transport risks and must address questions to the carrier in this respect.

3.6. If the delivery is prevented by force majeure or is heavily encumbered, HOUSE OF ELSÉE has the right to adjust the order to the circumstances or to terminate the agreement. The customer expressly waives any compensation.

3.7 In case of refusal of a delivery by a customer, the costs incurred will be borne by the customer.

3.8. The shipping rates are clearly stated at the end of your order. If the shipment proves to be more expensive than the standard rate, for example because of a heavier or larger package than standard, you will be notified in advance.

3.9. You can also pick up the package free of charge at Driegaaienstraat 74b 101, BE-9100 SINT-NIKLAAS. Pick up only by appointment.

3.10. Occasionally we do an action of free shipping during a limited period. No free shipping can be demanded after this limited period.

3.11. HOUSE OF ELSÉE has the right to make partial shipments.

3.12. HOUSE OF ELSÉE guarantees that the order will be sent in good condition and that a great deal of care is given to the shipment of articles.


Rates for shipping are as follows:

• Belgium: up to 10 kg – fixed rate of € 7.00
for purchases from € 850.00 – free shipping
Standard delivery: you can pick up your package free of charge at Driegaaienstraat 74b 101, BE-9100 Sint-Niklaas. Pick up only after appointment.
• Other countries – on request


5.1. All prices are in euros, including VAT of 21% and EXCL. shipping costs.

5.5. After receiving your payment on our billing account, we prepare your package and send it within the stipulated time period.


6.1. The delivered goods remain the property of HOUSE OF ELSÉE until full payment of the price, including all costs and expenses. In the event of non-payment we reserve the right to take back the goods, by operation of law and at the expense of the buyer.


7.1. The return cost is on behalf of the customer.

7.2. Before you send your return package, you must inform us by email to liselotte@houseofelsee.comAfter our approval you can return the package at your own expense (see 7.1.).

You can also bring back the returns by appointment to Driegaaienstraat 74b 101, BE-9100 Sint-Niklaas. Provide sufficient sturdy packaging so that the goods can be received in their original state.

7.3. Returns must come to us in perfect condition, unused and including all labels. HOUSE OF ELSÉE does not take back any items where the labels have been removed or suspected of being used.

7.4. HOUSE OF ELSÉE is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of returned items.

7.5. 14 calendar days after delivery, HOUSE OF ELSÉE assumes that the customer has agreed to the order.

7.6. Defective items must be reported within 14 calendar days after purchase and can be exchanged for the same product type in the same color and size, if available. After these 14 calendar days, every right to repair or replacement lapses.

7.7. Refunds for goods that are returned or defective items will be transferred within the period of 14 calendar days after receipt of the returned goods. In case of complaints you can contact:

The non-recoverable costs incurred to third parties by HOUSE OF ELSÉE, for carrying out a distance sale, and which are a direct consequence of the customer not to choose the cheapest standard delivery (i.e. collection at HOUSE OF ELSÉE, Driegaaienstraat 74b 101, BE-9100 Sint-Niklaas) are entirely the responsibility of the customer and therefore remain due. These costs are deducted from the amount to be refunded.


8.1. By ordering on HOUSE OF ELSÉE’s website, the buyer expressly authorizes the processing and use of her/his personal data for purposes such as the administration of the customer base, the management of orders, deliveries, payments, marketing and advertising.

8.2. By placing an order, the buyer gives HOUSE OF ELSÉE the right to include the ordering email address in the mailing list used for sending newsletters. Unsubscribing of this newsletter can always be done via an unsubscribe link in the email.

8.3. We always handle your personal data in the correct manner. We use only those data that are necessary for optimal service. Personal data are in no case provided to third parties.

9.1. When visiting the website or placing an order, you communicate with HOUSE OF ELSÉE electronically and the buyer accepts that all agreements, publications and other electronic messages have the same legality as written documents.


10.1. HOUSE OF ELSÉE is not liable if and insofar as our commitments cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure.

10.2. Force majeure means: any strange cause, as well as any circumstance, which should not reasonably be at its risk. Delay or default by our suppliers, faults in the Internet, faults in the electricity, disturbances in e-mail traffic and malfunctions or changes in technology provided by third parties, transport problems, strikes, government measures, delays in the supply, negligence of suppliers and / or HOUSE OF ELSÉE manufacturers as well as auxiliary persons, staff illnesses, defects in auxiliary or transport equipment are expressly regarded as force majeure.


11.1. If you would like to receive an invoice, please send us your invoicing data by mail at We will make an invoice and send it to you by email.


The following applies to all purchases of a gift voucher:

13.1. Each gift voucher is provided with a unique code and can be used only once.

13.2. No compensation will be paid in case of theft or loss of the gift voucher.

13.3. Purchasing a gift voucher is not possible with a received gift voucher.


14.1. If an article of these general conditions is annulled, this invalidity will not affect the validity of the other articles.

14.2. If any part of these general terms and conditions is declared to be too broad, the provision will be enforceable to the maximum permitted by law.

14.3. Should any part of these terms and conditions be considered invalid, we reserve the right to replace this part.


15.1. All rights, obligations, offers and agreements to which these general terms and conditions apply, as well as the general conditions themselves, are exclusively governed by Belgian law.

15.2. If a dispute arises as a result of our cooperation agreement or agreements based on it, we try to resolve this in the first instance with impartial mediation. If we cannot resolve the dispute in this way, let us settle our dispute by a competent judge in the district of Dendermonde. Both parties (you as customer and we as supplier) accept electronic communication (eg email) as proof.
